I draw inspiration from my rich background in art and antique furniture conservation. My previous career as an art historian, antique furniture restorer, researcher, and curator has deeply informed my approach to design and ability to maximize the aesthetic elements of the natural environment.
While I am based in the Spanish Mediterranean climate with its unique challenges with regard to climate adaptation including: the sensible use of water, incorporating dry gardening techniques, placing an emphasis on local and native plant flora and fauna, and championing the need for greener and more resilient urban areas, I enjoy working on international projects that provide alternative approaches to landscapes and gardens that promote biodiversity, sustainability, and caring for human well-being.
